Based in Australia, I am a freelance architectural, industrial and corporate location photographer and have been for over 20 years now – and I still love it!
I relish the variety of environments and challenges in which commercial photography involves me – from a difficult building in a busy city street or an impatient board of directors; to gigantic pieces of equipment on a remote outback mining site or the quiet mood of a beachside house interior. And there’s always the excitement of leaning out of a helicopter, capturing spectacular images as dusk falls.
Whatever is needed, I enjoy the challenge of ‘making it happen’, of organising the whole project, the pre-production, planning and execution of the most interesting and informative shots for any given project … anywhere.

I’ve worked on many and varied projects, always on location, comfortably dealing with all types of people from Prime Ministers to construction workers.
My client base includes government departments, large corporations both in Australia and internationally, small to medium size companies, educational institutions, not for profit organizations, advertising agencies as well as architects and designers.

My client base includes Stockland, Agility, One Steel, Invocare, GE capital, Adshell, Tyco, Evans and Peck, Booz Allen Hamilton, Eli Lilly, PTW Architects, Uniting Care, Thiess, Winten Property, TIDC, Munich Re, The Reserve Bank, The National Trust.

I am very happy to work undirected and many clients rely on my visual interpretation and approach (most of my assignments happen this way). However, if the situation requires some special direction, I am comfortable working as part of a team.

I have the respect of my industry, as well as lecturing in photography at various tertiary educational institutions, I speak at industry seminars and workshops all over Australia. I’m a founding member and first elected Federal president of ACMP Ltd (Australian Commercial Media Photographers), A member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography and was admitted as a member of the Association of Photographers in London in 2001.
